You are welcome to have a seat and enjoy the mountain panorama through the windows of our restaurant. This is where we serve our artisanal 3-course dinners in the winter and somewhat simpler 2-course dinners during the summer season.
The combination of the appetizer, the main course and the desert always gets selected with great care as we seek to create the perfect taste experience for all our guests.
You may choose one of our exquisite wines or craft beers to accompany the dish. We will gladly recommend you the perfect match, in case you are not sure what to pick.
Interior
Enjoy the rustic atmosphere
We have furnished and decorated our restaurant with great care and with passion for details as we want our guests to fully enjoy their stay. During the daytime, the highland panorama over the Rödfjället in the south appeals like a painting that invites your eyes to wander and take in the calmness of the majestic mountain tops. As soon as the sunlight disappears, the restaurant gets lit up by candles and atmospheric lamps that support the rustic charm of the interior.
Out restaurant fits up to 70 persons and may also be booked for special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, business meetings or conferences.

"Husmanskost"
Traditional recipes & regional ingredients
Skarvruet’s restaurant relies on traditional recipes that preserve an important part of the local culture. Thanks to the engagement of the famous chef Tore Wretman back in the 1950ies, traditional Swedish homemade food, also known as „Husmanskost“, still lives on in many kitchens throughout the country – and beyond.
As we ourselves enjoy these good old recipes, we seek to keep them alive with every dish we serve.
For all our meals we use as many regional ingredients as possible. Not only do short transports mean that the food is absolutely fresh – it does likewise support local farmers and keeps the ecological footprint at a minimum, too. Hence, we can honestly say that our food is truly “good” in every way.
