Skarvruet is located directly at the foot of the Skarvarna mountains and right in between Tänndalen and Funäsdalen, having the Rödfjället in the South. Our hotel and hostel lies in the middle of the wilderness and very close to the highland plateaus, though Funäsdalen and Tänndalen are only a ten minutes car ride away. From here you can directly start on your day hikes or overnight outdoor trips.

Should you travel without an own car, either by bus or maybe as you hike on the southern part of the Kungsleden, you are welcome to contact us in advance in order to check for opportunities to be picked up.

The different room, studio, apartment and cottage categories of  our hostel:

• Double rooms with individual bathrooms
• Double rooms and four-beds-rooms with shared bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and living room with TV
• Apartments/cottages for 5 – 16 guests with fully equipped kitchen, ski cabinet, drying facilities, TV, WiFi

Further information:

• One bigger sauna can be found at the hotel (50:- / adult, 25:- kid) , a smaller one at the hostel
• Washing machine and drier can be booked
• Drying facilities for wet clothes are available
• Sheds for bicycles
• Rooms for guests with pets are available upon request, please contact us in advance
• Some medicines or souvenirs can be bought occasionally
• All our hostel guests are warmly welcome to the Skarvuets Lodge, the restaurant and the bar (please book in advance).
